This kit supplies only the components of our CSW 356 Speedster replica cars that are custom fabricated by us. All other components can be sourced from various auto supply stores. The Basic kit requires reasonably detailed mechanical knowledge and is recommended only for those with at least a moderate level of mechanical skills.

CONTENTS - BASIC KIT

CHASSIS

The custom chassis comes completely fabricated, with all brackets attached and holes drilled.  It is finished in primer or can be left bare steel at the request of the customer.

BODY

The body is 6 ozs. of hand laid fiberglass matting with black gelcoat. The kit includes:

  • all fiberglass panels including body tub, hood, trunk lid, doors, dash, bumpers, etc.
  • all handles, hinges, latches, brackets, screws, bolts, etc. to assemble above
  • all rubbers, seals, etc. needed to assemble above
  • windscreen frame, posts, rubbers, seals and hardware required to mount
  • hardware for mounting side windows, including electric window mounting kit, seals, etc.

GLASS

All glass is auto safety glass

TOP

The top comes fully fabricated and ready to mount on the car.

FRONT SUSPENSION - not included

The front suspension is Mustang II and all components are readily available from hot rod parts suppliers in components or as complete rotor to rotor assemblies. For those of you who want to go this route, a list of parts will be provided at time of purchase.

REAR SUSPENSION

Control arms plus all mounting hardware are provided. Any brackets etc. required are mounted on the chassis.

All other components are stock and can be purchased by you, if so desired. For those of you who want to go this route, a list of the required parts will be provided at time of purchase.
