Title & Registration

The process appears to be straightforward. All receipts, invoices etc. are to be taken to the Department of Motor Vehicles. Title will be issued for the year in which the vehicle is first registered. With this title and proof of insurance, application for tags can be made. Not sure if there is a safety inspection required.

Emission Testing

Testing if required for all vehicles in Pheonix Area A and Tucson Area B. All vehicles first registered after 1996 must meet OBD II testing requirements. One waiver can be obtained if the vehicle fails. This waiver is valid until the next registration period
